Course Outline Since this is a crash course in graphics, this clearly is an overview, and doesn't intend to teach you any particular software package in depth. We hope to cover some very basic definitions, and give you an overview of common graphic software. While
this overview is biased toward web page publishing, most of the concepts
of graphic design discussed here also apply to desk top publishing or
paper publishing. Basic definitions- We'll start with the very basic definitions you need to know to speak the language of graphics.
We'll introduce to two common graphics programs, Microsoft Photo Editor, and Corel Photo Paint, and give you an idea on how to use them. Online resources and links to learn more- The links at he end of the section will lead you to some online graphics resources for clip art, and addition graphics help, as well as sources for software.
