-- Use the magic wand and click in the outlying white area
-- Choose flood fill - double click to choose the color palette, and enter in the number of the color you wish to select
-- Save file as aardvark2.jpg

. Saving as a transparent in gif:

-- go to colors, set color transparency
-- Select Set the transparency to palette entry
-- Move the cursor to the graphic and select the background
-- Save file as aardvark3.gif
